  3. <hi style=afpcap>The YF-22 as seen from the front and slightly above is a particularly lethal killing machine. The "clean" shape of the wing is possible because the YF-22 carries weapons in a fuselage bay. The canted twin tail and "blend" between fuselage and wing are features expected in an advanced-technology fighter. The Air Force has not said which outfit will receive the first production F-22s, but it will probably be the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.</hi>
